Interim position 3-6 months – starting asap, 40 hours a week
We are seeking a skilled Accountant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA and a solid grasp of core accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in managing the month-end closing process and improving workflows related to order-to-cash and purchase-to-pay.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Closing Tasks:
- Recording accruals;
- Processing asset depreciation;
- Creating and maintaining asset records;
- Conducting financial reviews of revenue and cost of goods sold in relation to goods movement schedules.
Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Posting revenue and associated accounts;
- Supporting the Head of Accounting in preparing financial statements for local reporting;
- Enhancing documentation for revenue recognition and purchase-to-pay procedures;
- Organizing payment runs for reimbursements and travel expenses;
- Providing guidance to employees on travel and expense reimbursements.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Concur for expense management;
- Advanced proficiency in Excel;
- Strong analytical skills for handling financial data;
- Fluent in English;
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
